Bay Pines Lutheran Church & School:
Our Lutheran Elementary School

The members of Bay Pines Congregation have made a commitment to support and maintain a fulltime Lutheran Elementary School with grades Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Bay Pines is served by four called teachers plus numerous volunteer helpers. The current enrollment is 56 students.

Currently there are four classrooms. The average classroom has between 15-20 students in it. With the devil's assault on the family, and especially our children, we must maintain lower classroom sizes than a generation ago if we hope to provide a quality Christian education.

The school uses a curriculum developed by the faculty in consultation with our larger church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, which has promoted and supervised quality Christian education for almost all of its 150 years. Our standards are equal to or above those mandated by the Florida Department of Education. All subjects are taught from a Christ-centered perspective. The education is not limited to textbooks, for it also teaches our children how to live Christian lives and witness to the rest of the world. Most importantly, our school is the most visible arm of the church used to prepare our children for eternal life in heaven.
