  • School clothing should be neat, clean and reflect proper Christian standards.
  • Boys are not permitted to wear earrings or have body piercing
  • Clothing with inappropriate pictures and messages as well as clothing that allows bare midriffs are NOT allowed.

Appear clean
Appear clean shaven
Wear solid colored pants
Wear Capri pants, knickers, pedal pushers
Wear solid colored cargo shorts that are finger-tip length
Wear solid colored shorts that are finger-tip length
Wear solid colored polo styled shirts with collar and sleeves
Wear solid colored button-down dress shirt with a collar and sleeves
Wear dresses with sleeves with shorts underneath (K-3 only)
Wear solid colored skorts that are finger-tip length
Wear belts if you are in 4th – 8th grade
Wear safe, closed shoes that cover the entire foot (ex. sneakers, loafers, boat shoes, Mary Janes)
Wear solid colored turtleneck sweater with long sleeves
Wear solid colored sweatshirts worn over polo shirts
Wear plain cardigan or button-down sweaters worn over polo shirts

Shorts/Dresses/skorts must be finger-tip length (hem must reach tips of fingers or longer)

Shirts must be appropriate length to remain tucked into pants

  • This dress code policy will apply to all students, all ages, all grades – girls and boys – and will be enforced

 

  1. Teachers will contact parents and also inform the principal when inappropriate articles are worn to school.
  2. Notification from school will be sent home with students for days when other clothing options may be worn.  Such as Bay Pines Lutheran School shirts may be worn at special events – sports days, field trips, school spirit days and community events.
