Spirit WeekThis week is Spirit week. Students can dress up to show their Bay Pines school spirit! Monday – Sports Day Tuesday – Decade Day Wednesday – Crazy Hair Day Thursday – Mismatch Day Friday – Bay Pines Spirit Day If you have questions, let me know!
Awards NightAwards Night will be Tuesday, May 25 at 7pm. Students will receive awards for attendance, reading, and more. Please plan on attending so we can recognize the wonderful things your child has accomplished this year!
Last Day of SchoolThe last day of school will be Friday, May 28. It is a half-day so school will be dismissed at 12pm. There is no after school care offered, so please make arrangements to have your child picked up at 12pm. Thank you!
Graduation/Closing ServiceOur graduation/closing service will be Friday, May 28 at 7pm. Students in grades K-7 will be singing for the service, so we’d love to see you there.
Picnic Lunch at Seminole ParkOn Wednesday, May 26, we are going to Seminole Park for a picnic lunch. We’ll eat and the kids can play on the playground. We will walk down and back. Please do not send any heat ups with your child on Wednesday. If you have a wagon we could borrow to put the lunches in, let me know. That would help a lot! Thank you!
Thank YouIt’s hard to believe it is the end of another school year. I’d like to thank each of you for the privilege of teaching your child. It has been a wonderful year and your children are very special. I’d also like to thank you for all the help and support you’ve given me through out the year. Your involvement makes our school year run so much more smoothly. I appreciate all the help with driving on field trips, classroom parties, school play costumes, hot lunches, and everything else that you do to make school fun and exciting for your child. I pray that you each have a safe and blessed summer and I look forward to seeing you in August!
