Meet Bay Pines Lutheran School
Bay Pines Evangelical Lutheran School exists to assist parents in bringing
their children closer the Lord Jesus Christ. This page is designed to show
the manner in which we carry out this God-given responsibility and
privilege.
"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of

Mission
Bay Pines Lutheran School provides a Christ centered
education for the children of our congregation and community,
preparing them for life on earth and in heaven.
Vision Statements
1. Follow Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you..." our school will provide
education in the word of God to families throughout the community.

strengthen the faith of the congregation through the instruction of
its children in the truths of God's Word and will bring families to
the congregation through continued evangelism outreach.
3. Graduates of Bay Pines Lutheran School will
have achieved the highest academic excellence through the
development of the God given talents.

Affiliation
This school is operated as a Lutheran Elementary School by Bay Pines
Evangelical. Lutheran Church, Seminole, Florida. Its supervision is
directly under this congregation's Education and Services Committee.
Bay Pines Lutheran School is one of the 361 elementary schools within the
Wisconsin Evangelical. Lutheran Synod. Approximately 31,980 children are
enrolled in these schools which are staffed by over 1850 dedicated
teachers. The teachers in these schools, as well as in our school, have
received their Bachelor of Science in Education degree and are certified
at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota
Philosophy
Our philosophy is that children are a gift of God. They need to be brought
to faith in Jesus, in whom they are assured of the forgiveness of sins and
eternal life in heaven. Therefore the teaching of God's word, Law and
Gospel, permeates all subject areas. Our students are educated to use
their talents to God's glory in their community and country.
Purpose
The purpose of this school is to provide a Christ-centered education based
upon the inspired Word of God, the one and only authority for faith and
life. In light of this purpose, Bay Pines Ev. Lutheran Church operates
this school for the education of our congregation's children and for
reaching out to the community with the Gospel of Christ.
Curriculum
All subjects are used to share the love of Christ. The subjects include
Bible study, reading, language skills, science, mathematics, social
studies, computer skills, music, art, health, and physical education.
Church Attendance
A Christian desires to be in God's house so that he can give the Lord
praise and receive the strength God offers in His Word. Certainly all
parents will want to set a Christian example for their children by taking
them to worship services regularly.
Periodically, classroom choirs sing in our church services. All children
are expected to be in attendance when their class is scheduled to sing.
Chapel Service
A weekly chapel service is conducted for our children. Mission offerings
gathered at this service help spread our Savior's Gospel throughout the
world. Parents are encouraged to join the children in this weekly service.
