Pioneers go on outings like biking, canoeing, fishing and camping. Under the direction of Mr. Mark Boehme and other men of the congregation, skills are taught that they can enjoy for a lifetime. Twice a year a canoe trip is taken. A winter campout is held on one of the barrier islands. The season concludes with a week long hike on the Appalachian Trail in northern Georgia or North Carolina. This trip is usually made in July.

Lutheran Women's Missionary Society is a national organization of WELS women (and some men) who focus on providing for our missionary workers around the world. There are spring and fall rallies in our area that serve to inform us of the work that is being done by our missionaries, and the ways in which we can help them spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There are also the Boards and Committees that serve the congregation. They are the Church Council and the Committees of Education and Service, Elders, Evangelism, Stewardship, and Trustees. The Building Committee has served Bay Pines in the preparation of our Master Plan plus guiding towards a major building program.
Therefore my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. " I Corinthians 15:58
