Worship

The worship life of our congregation is guided by our called pastor, David Priebe. We come together for worship for several important reasons. We take this opportunity to thank and praise our Triune God. We use this time to formally proclaim the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word and Sacrainents. We also use our worship to help us build and strengthen our faith and refresh our souls. Finally, we build the Body of Christ through our worship.

Attendance

The Lord continues to bless Bay Pines congregation with increased worship attendance. Each week we average 245 people coming to hear the saving message of Christ crucified. There are two worship opportunities each week with services on Sunday at 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.

For the past couple of years our Thanksgiving services have approached 300 in attendance for one service. Our children have sang and spoke the Lord's praises on Christmas Eve to almost 500 in one service. During the season of Lent two services are held. One is at 10:00 in the morning, with the evening service at 7:00. This service has been preceded by a soup supper which is enjoyed by many of our families, especially those with young children. The Easter Sunrise service and Festival service bring a church full of worshipers to celebrate the resurrection of our God. Services in which the children of our school sing have been blessed with wonderful attendances, and delight all of us.

With this increased number of souls to minister to, it is evident that we need worship facilities to comfortably accommodate these people. If we are continued to be blessed in the future with such growth we must be able to provide for the physical needs during worship. It is fitting that we respond by providing adequate physical facilities for worship and for Christian education. What an extraordinary opportunity the Lord has blessed us with!

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst in song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. " Isaiah 55:11-12
